Aims and objectives of the service
At ATQ, our mission is to provide a person-centred, high-quality service that empowers individuals with a range of complex needs to live fulfilling lives. We are committed to promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion across all areas of support, while helping individuals develop skills, build confidence, and enhance their quality of life through independence and self-determination.
We work collaboratively with clients, their families, social workers, carers, local authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and other professionals to identify, implement, and review personalised care plans that reflect each individual’s unique needs, abilities, and goals. Our support is flexible, responsive, and non-intrusive—tailored to promote independent living while respecting the individual’s culture, traditions, and home environment.
Our highly trained and experienced staff provide compassionate care ranging from help with daily living skills such as shopping, cleaning, companionship and social engagement, to complex care for individuals diagnosed with dementia experiencing memory loss, behavioural challenges, or sleep disturbances.
At the heart of our service is a commitment to safeguarding privacy and confidentiality, ensuring personal information is protected and shared only in line with our strict confidentiality policies. By fostering strong partnerships with multidisciplinary teams, we ensure well-rounded, informed decision-making that leads to seamless, cost-effective care and the best possible outcomes for each individual.

AQTs Commitment to Safe and High-Quality Staffing
At AQT, we are committed to delivering the highest quality care by employing only those individuals who meet our strict standards. Through a thorough recruitment and selection process, we ensure that all staff have the right skills, qualifications, experience, and attitude to provide safe, compassionate, and effective support.
Every team member receives a full induction when they join, along with continuous training, regular supervision, and performance reviews to ensure they remain confident and competent in their roles.
To protect those in our care, all applicants must undergo an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. Where required, staff are also registered with the Independent Safeguarding Authority, giving clients and families peace of mind that they are in safe hands.
All of our care workers hold a recognised Health and Social Care qualification such as the Care Certificate, BTEC Level 1, or NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 or are actively working towards achieving it.
Care staff are carefully matched to clients based on their qualifications, skills, experience, and suitability, ensuring they are fully equipped to provide safe, respectful, and high-quality care.
